The Hydro-Bladz Inspiration
Hydro-Bladz and the program Kaya-Fit were inspired by the fitness benefits acquired from kayaking. After experiencing the great fitness benefits from kayaking on the water we decided it should be taken to the pool. The basic kayaking movement was the start and we simply kept adding various movements to hit different parts of the body and different muscle groups. What has resulted is a great total body low impact workout that can be done by people of all ages and fitness levels.
The 16 minute Kaya-Fit modules can be done as a part of a class or as a free standing workout. It consists of 4 parts, each one is broken down into (4) 1 minute sessions. Minutes 1,2,3 are each a selected HBZ paddle exercise and the forth is a cardio combo combining legs and paddle exercise. This is repeated four times for a total of 16 minutes.
